Who we are
Team Green Britain is a community of people with one shared aim: we want to demonstrate that living a low-carbon life isn’t only possible; it’s usually better. Our team is filled with committed people from all walks of life. We organise events to help bring them together, provide carbon-cutting and money-saving advice, and give our members a platform for sharing their own ideas. We are backed by London 2012 and EDF Energy, the UK’s largest low-carbon electricity producer, and we work closely with innovative people like the Eden Project and Team Green Britain Bike Week.
Our aim is simple: help people do things differently when
it comes to their home, travel and food, the three areas that
account for more than 60% of your carbon footprint. On this
website, you'll find lots of ideas for making life better, cutting
back on carbon emissions and saving money. Some are from our
partners, many of them are from people like you. Our
community draws its strength and ideas from the many different
types of people who take part.

Two wheels better
