  • Schools

In the build up to Green Britain Day, leading Olympic and Paralympics athletes made special visits to schools across Britain to find out how pupils are using resources and materials from www.jointhepod.org, EDF Energy's Programme for Greener Schools, to help the school reduce its impact on the environment.

  • Supporters

Pledges for a greener future from hundreds of school children, Olympians and celebrities were displayed on the back of pedal-bikes and cycled into London to be presented to Greg Barker MP, Minister of State for the Department for Energy and Climate Change.
